i have a gen ii 80 gig ps3 that has ylod. can i take the hard drive from it and put it in another gen ii and keep all my data, or will it make me reformat the hard drive to the new ps3? and how do i get the disc out that is still in the ylod system?
Turn off the ps3 at the plug . Then hold the eject button while switching in the ps3 at the plug . It will kick it it to fan test mode snd eject any disks .
I had the same problem and the second PS3 will ask for you to format the drive, sorry!!
