So, my screen has this yellowish tint (very yellow) when it is on pc mode (i use this as my monitor for my computer). To note, if i switch it to other mode, it works fine (no yellow tint). BUT i tried using other monitors just to see if the problem is actually on my graphic driver, and the colors were actually just fine. Can someone actually help me, what is the problem?
@jmniebla08 , What is the model number of the PC? The CPU doesn’t tell me much about what the motherboard can do or offer alternatives as far as outputting video goes Bit confused here. How are you using vga to connect into the TV? The TV according to the user manual has HDMI/DVI and Component video inputs only. vga is a different type of analogue signal to component video so you need a vga to component converter -example only to make it work when connected to the component input. vga to component you need to convert the rgb vga signal to the Y, Pb, Pr component signal DVI is a digital signal as is HDMI so again you have to use a converter - example only to make it work. vga to DVI (or HDMI) you need to convert from an analogue vga signal to a digital DVI (or HDMI) signal. Straight wiring adapters won’t work. You need converters, which have to be powered in the case of component video and maybe also with HDMI although they can derive power from the HDMI port if designed that way. Adapters just alter the wiring so that it can be plugged in, they don’t convert the signal. If you’re using a vga to component adapter and not a converter that is maybe why you’re getting the yellow. Essentially the TV is not getting the correct signals as most likely one of the 3 colours is missing
