Chosen Solution
Hello so last summer i tryed to take pictures with my z3 under sea water. bad idea. the phone showed an overheating alert and then shutdown. after opening it and drying it the phone started again. i could hear everything, the vibrator works, the camera seemed to work everything seemed to work except the screen and degitizer that were blank. in my attempt to repare it, i changed the screen, then the flex cable then both of them. needless to say nothing changed still blank screen. can you guys help me figure this out
unfortunately something may have blown or shorted on the logic board of the phone. if you can look very closely at the logic board and see if anything on there is out or wack or blown.
nothing looks burned or swollen in the visible parts, but i didn’t take down the metal boxes on top of the cpu and gpu
so no even under the metal boxes there is nothing that looks suspicious.
i had this problem too i put my phone into the bowl for 3 minutes and everything’s fine until about 4 minutes later the screen went blank and i touch the screen and it vibrates but nothing shows only the green lights blinks and the alarm rings but the screen gone blank can you guys help me
