Hi, Lately I have noticed that my xbox shuts down 4 seconds after me turning him on. Tried to disassemble the machine to see if the cpu fan is clogged with dust - negative tried to open the power brick to see if it has dust - positive, but after cleaning it all it still after 4 seconds shuts down. So I called some place that also fixes Xboxes and he told me that my power brick is gone. So I managed to order new one online, butttt it still has the same scenario! turns on for 4 seconds and shuts down :( I really don’t know what to do.
Give a hard reset a try. Power on the console then right after you power it on, power it off but don’t let your finger off the power button until it turns off (takes around 10 seconds) If that doesn’t work, power on your console then check to see if your power brick LED light goes from white light to orange, or any flickering in between. If that happens, this is an issue with the south bridge chip on the motherboard and requires a reflow.
