I recently spilt water on my Xbox’s fan on the top, and opened it up in order to allow everything to dry properly, disconnecting the components and inspecting them to ensure there was no water left behind. After reconnecting everything, the Xbox works but turns itself off after a few minutes due to ‘insufficient ventilation’. The fan sounds like it is running, and the Xbox is on a desktop with nothing covering it. Any ideas as to what this could be?
Just cleaving the board or drying is not enough, you should clean it with isopropyl alcohol in order to parent it from making corrosion. and also when you take it apart one s heatsink Nirmal doesn’t come apart, you ll have to remove heatsink and see if liquid is still huddled under the heatsink( but careful as heatsink is not easily comes off if you don’t know what to do, and don’t damage the cpu while taking apart) good luck
