I got an broken Xbox one s for free. When I plug it in it won’t do anything even the fan doesn’t spin for a second like it should. I watched an video where the Xbox had the exact same problem as mine. The guy said u should change the mosfets on the 3 phase input near the PSU. His started working again. Is there a good chance that my one will start working again after replacing those mosfets?
Hi There! Could be a solution, but nothing is for sure. Do you have any pictures regarding this and could you measure if there is power coming in? Anyway, replacing it is not that expensive. Do you have experience with soldering/de-soldering? Replacing the motherboard would probably fix it too, but is way more expensive. Just to confirm: It won’t go on with the controller or power button, right?
