Hey, I repair most fixes on Xbox one controllers, although I have come across a very weird one. I have an unresponsive RB (right bumper) tactile. I have tried to replace the tactile 3 times with out any sign of life. The rest of the controller works perfectly, just the RB. Any ideas of the traces from the tactile in order to trace this back and see if the fault is else where?
Do you mean you replaced the actual button and re soldered it onto the board? If you have I would examine the entire board for any type of damage or residue, Especially near the connector. Use good magnification and plenty of light.
