Chosen Solution

A friend recently came to me with a broken Xbox 360 S, he experienced a lot of hiccups and freezes, after a couple of days the Xbox gone red. So i took a look at it and i got an E14/0032 error. Which means it might be temp sensor related. So i took a look at some options, the first one was an reflow, unfortunately i don’t have such equipment or a store nearby to do that. On an other form they recommended to scratch the board (the connection from the temp sensor) as an last resort. I don’t know what to do right now, if it’s better that i replace the mobo or is there an other solution to this problem? I already replaced the thermal paste and the Xbox is out of warranty.

Check pin 2 of ncp1581g ic for 0.9v this is an enable to turn on the switching output. If not present resolder the resistors that connect line from cpu to enable pin.
