How can I fix my Xbox 360 (slim)? It keeps turning off. It cuts off 8 to 10 times before it comes on for good. The eject button doesn’t work and I have to turn on the console from the controller. What can I do?
Have you tried a different power supply? The one you have might be bad.
All those things, the start button, the eject function, and the on/off symptom involve the same part (the faceplate). To me, it sounds like you have a faulty or loosely connected faceplate ribbon. If it still doesn’t work correctly after completely disconnecting the faceplate and its ribbon from the motherboard, try replacing the faceplate.
