I have a problem were my xbox one will not boot up so I tried the system restore by holding down the eject and reset button and also downloaded the system update onto a usb stick and this won’t work it stays on 0% for a long time then come up with an error. I don’t want to change anything like a hard drive unless I really need to.
The hard drive may be faulty. Only way to tell is to take out the hard drive, plug it into a windows desktop computer. Then use Hard Disk Sentinel which you can download here will let you know whether or not your hard drive has any bad or weak sectors to indicate a bad hard drive.
