my pen drive has been write protected, format related issue. I did everything like in registry edit, cmd command, used tools, but the problem remains same
Sadly there just isn’t any way to salvage your USB drive.
Possible causes of read-only mount: Security configurations on the Operating System; Too many to list, but they are altered using Windows Registry; Google around;Corrupt Filesystem / Dirty Bit set; Use chkdsk;Corrupt partition table; Use a drive partitioning utility; Pendrive will be erased but will be usable later;Pen drive microcontroller reporting faults; It means it’s time to buy a new drive. I’m still looking into possible temporary fixes to make the drive last a few more days, but it looks bad.
Its seems that Cruzer Blade usb disk is awful. I have the same problem “write protected” and I have found many other posts in internet with the same problematic usb disk.
First I maked the bootable USB of Ubuntu then I installed Ubuntu in dual boot successfully, but now I am formatting my SanDisk USB then it is showing me error of " write protected". I tryed most of the ways from Google but that is not working, my USB is also showing in disk manager but, I am not able to format or delete the partition, can you help me please 😢🙏
