So I dropped my phone in the water and the motherboard is dead. Is it worth to replace it? Meaning to buy a new motherboard and open up the phone to fix it? I don’t have any clue about the costs and the effort I have to put to fix the phone.
If you dropped your phone to water, probably not just the board damaged. Screen, battery and charging block can be damaged easily if you drop your phone to water. Try to test these parts before you buy a new motherboard.
