Chosen Solution
Hello, I was playing smash 4 and i dropped it, immediately it shut down. It wont boot up or even show a sign of life, not even a signal that it is charging when i plug it in. I have no clue what happened, not sure what to do on it. Please help me with this, i would really appreciate it. This is about a new 3ds xl. Thanks, Jeremy

the battery is probably loose you can test it just by trying to power the system on with out the battery and if you get the same results try to hold the battery in manually and try to power it on if you still get the same results then i guess you should get an new motherboard and try it like that when it still fails i think your whole 3ds is broken
