Chosen Solution
So I bought the Ifixit kit and replaced the battery no problem, except now the thing won’t turn on. I’ve tried plugging it in and turning it on but that doesn’t work either, the charger turns orange and then green so I’m guessing it’s not completely broken. I left it plugged in overnight and nothing happened, please help
Have you tried an SMC Reset? That solves some issues with not powering on.
