Wont Take Picture Says Busy Eos Rebel Xl

Looking inside the lens it says busy… It wont take a picture… The battery is charged.. When I press the button to take a picture it beeps but it wont open and take a picture..

I don’t know the answer that’s why I put it here. Anybody ???
