Chosen Solution
Purchased a replacement used touch after I fried my first. Plugged it in for a charge and all is well (installed all my music with no problem) until I try to shut if off. Has no effect at all. Just starting my iPod repairs and do not know what to do with this one and I see there are no questions on this. Please help a rookie
The power button has been damaged, replace the power button cable
