So my late macbook 2013 wont boot if I leave it off or in sleep overnight. Resetting SMC wont work. Cant boot into recovery either. Took it to the apple store a few days ago when it finally turned on and they ran diagnostic that found nothing wrong. The next day it wouldn’t boot back up. Still can boot it. When pressing the power button I can hear a faint click under the keyboard.
CoconutBattery is showing your battery is in good shape!You only have 97 discharge cycles. The charging logic appears to be working correctly so so its not that either. At this point I’m thinking you’ll need to pop the bottom off to inspect for liquid damage. Its possible the damage is limited to the keyboard and/or its connections. If you see any staining or burnt chips take a picture so we can see it.
