Chosen Solution
My Envy worked one and a half year really well. Today while i was working i got a black screen. The Envy had power and it was hot in the room (30C°). But i cooled the laptop with an airpad. So now there is nothing no life sign. No LEDs. No Fans. I can’t start the Envy with power supply and without. Any ideas what i can try?
This could be power supply failure. You can check with another power adapter. If still that does not works then it could be a faulty motherboard. You may get it checked with a local HP service center.
