Chosen Solution
My 3ds xl has been broken for 4-5 years now the problem started when it would randomly shut down. The intervals between shut offs got shorter and shorter until finally it wouldn’t turn on. What happens now when I try to power it on is the light turns blue and stays on and the screen remains black for a few seconds then there’s a pop noise from the 3ds and it shuts down again. Can any one tell me what the issue is. I have a video showing what happens if that is needed. Edit: Replaced the battery and let it charge over night and the problem consists.
Try to replace the battery
Take it apart and make sure that all of the yellow cords are in place. If that doesn’t work, get a new battery. And if that doesn’t work sorry friendo but you’re gonna have to take it to the repair shop and fork out some dineros to get it fixed Hope this may help
