What part needs replacing?

The washing machine locks during the spin cycle. I have to push the on off button in to end the spin cycle, then unplug it to get the lock light off. The lid won’t open at this time so I have to push the on off button again to unlock the lid. I tried using two different wash setting, regular and casual and it does the same thing on both settings.
