Chosen Solution
The computer seems to physically be running fine. If the user shuts it down correctly, it will not power on again until the battery is removed, and the adapter is unplugged. I have updated the OS, and I have also run the power management driver updates. Any ideas?
@gatewaynomad it’s a long shot but I would try a new battery first. It could be deeper (like your sense circuit on the motherboard) but for that we would need to know the make and model of the motherboard.
