Was working when I put it in a drawer, pulled it back out after maybe a year and it just won’t power on or give an led indicator it is connected to power. Tried the cord I had been using in the past to charge it and nothing, cord is fine. This was a replacement phone I had used for less than a year, it was stored with the battery installed, no leaks, water damage or drops and has lived in a otterbox since day 1. Wasn’t rooted or custom firmware either.

The inoffical thing to do is to change your battery. It has discharged below its charge threshold and will no longer hold a charge. After that, re-evalaute.
