I don’t usually ask, usually I answer, but this time there is a problem on my kimdle tablet that keeps getting me. First, it does not charge, when it charges it shows 0% as the battery percentage, when I turned it on, it just showed an electric bolt inside battery icon. It keeps doing this. I don’t want to do a teardown of my Kindle tablet :( Model number is KFMUWI. Connor Fay
Hi @cfrepair , Seems as though the battery has failed and needs to be replaced. At the very least you will need to open the tablet and check the state of charge in the battery or even if charging voltage is getting to the battery.
