Chosen Solution
I recently flashed Unlocked bootloader, flashed TWRP and installed SuperSU. After installing SuperSU I selected wipe cache/dalvik and reboot system. Now phone shows the OnePlus logo as per usual but the the screen goes black and a blue light stays on?
SuperSu is not compatible with Oreo 8.1. Reflash whatever rom you’re using, reboot and let rom get set up. After letting rom set up, reboot to TWRP, flash Magisk 16.0 or above, reboot and enjoy.
