Hello, today I changed my Iphone battery, and it just does not work, THe phone keeps rebooting over and over, and it does not charge. It can’t be the battery because I changed 3 and it only works with the battery I had before
What did I do wrong? Update (08/07/2020) Update: the rebooting stops if I switch to airplane mode, for some reason
It sounds like you have a defective battery. Buy another battery and return the first one. Did you buy the battery from a reputable source? I wouldn’t buy batteries from Ebay. Try a battery from ifixit and any battery you buy has a chance of being defective. It happens.
I’m getting the same issue with a friends iPhone 7 Plus. I’ve tried a battery from another reputable source and an now an Ifixit battery and both are doing the same thing. Phone doesn’t reboot with original battery, only these replacements.
