Ive had this computer a little over a year and have always had wireless connectivity issues. It turns off by itself and wont turn back on unless you restart the computer. It seems to be a known Apple issue. I’ve tried everything there is to try on the Apple forum. And I would like to replace the wireless card. My problem is I cant seem to find a card or instructions on how to install it. It looks like its located in the LCD. How do you take the LCD apart with out damaging it? And where can I find a wireless/bluetooth card for this. Cant find any on ebay.
Does the wireless not work, or it won’t connect? If that it’s a known Snow Leopard issue with some routers (you probably have 192.168.x.x for your IP). Just try and make a new Location with your settings, and don’t leave it at “Automatic”.

lol…. my thoughts exactly :) Sell it and buy a new one.
Is the laptop still under warranty? If it is, then take it to Apple and see if they can replace/fix it. Otherwise follow machead3’s advice and follow the guide. Unfortunately, I do not know of any companies that are selling wireless cards for your laptop.
