When I boot up Nextbook, it goes to a regular screen not the windows 8 screen How did I lose that option?
Most commonly on an OS, if you don’t have a password, it will boot directly to your home screen. However, if you are speaking of booting to the start menu, 1)Right-click on the Windows 8.1 taskbar, then choose Properties. 2)Click on the Navigation tab 3)under the Start screen section, check, or uncheck the box next to “When I sign in or close all apps on a screen, go to the desktop instead of Start.” Accordingly I hope this helped. +++++ There is also a possibility, that there was an update to windows 10 as well
