Will a Super 500mm/1000mm f/8 Manual Telephoto Lens be compatible with my Nikon D40X?

The other nikon cameras listed are all take AF-S lenses, as the D40X takes AF-S lenses, I would say that it would fit.

That lens will work in manual mode on the D40x, but will require a T-ring (for Nikon) to attach it. Expect to see a lot of purple fringing.
