Hello everyone. My questions is. Will my Xbox one elite controller still work if I disconnect the wiring on the rumble motors? One I don’t want the vibration anyways, but I’m trying to change out my buttons but it’s a pain to trying and change them with those wires in the way. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Yes your controller will still work without any of the rumbles. I’ve tested controllers where nothing but the boards and the backplate have been assembled and they work. The only thing I have found is that, without the analog stick modules, the controller registers +100% foreward movement. Just be careful to not let the wires accidentally touch any part of the board while assembled.
