Chosen Solution
I have an Xbox Series S and found a replacement SSD for the Series X. Would it be reasonable to put that into my Xbox, or should I buy a Seagate expansion card? Xbox Series X Replacement SSD (ifxit.com)
Technically it should work as the only thing that is different is the storage space. microsoft usually will allow a new ssd in their new consoles. also for $200 i recommend not getting it on ifixit and but one from a place like newegg or microcenter.
