I recently had to change out my logic board in my iPod because of previous power problems. But now it DOES come on and shows music content on hard drive while plugged into wall. But when I plug into the computer, it just says, " please wait battery very weak." But it also says that with no battery in it. But I’ve had it on charge all day.
@n8dawg could be a bad battery. But, remember that this series has issues with the battery connector easily breaking of the logic board. Replace the battery and while you do so make sure that the connector is still properly connected. Use a L-shaped paper clip to lift the clasp gently (straight up).
