My Mac Book Pro 2017 A1708 won’t power on. Intermittently, it boots to logon window and then blacks out. How do I trouble shoot this?

To start off you’ll need to verify your USB-C charger is working as well as you are using the correct/working cable. The best way to do this is to get a USB-C power tester (as Apple took the LED out of the cord you have no other way).
