Cycle stops and will not drain or go into rinse cycle. If I turn knob manually to another cycle on the spin it will drain and spin, then I need to do it manually again to a rinse cycle and find a spin/drain cycle to finish load
chaffeefamily , Normally I would suggest a lid switch problem, but since you are able to change the cycle Knob and get it to run, it is probable a bad timer control. You do not state your make and complete model #, so I will post a link to a some what generic procedure of timer control being changed along with a couple other informative links that may help.
