Chosen Solution
Hi all got a dead i6+ for cheap as would not turn on. So got it home first thing I done was change the lighting port. Plugged it in and got the charging logo then the apple logo then nothing. The back light is on but no sound or vib. Plugged it in to pc and Itunes will not detecting it and won’t charge though the pc. I think the battery is shot as not getting any readings from it. but as believe it should still connect to iTunes. I’m a bit stuck as where to go with it now.
it could also be the charging ic (tristar) has failed
