I have an iPhone 6 with a really beat up housing and a perfectly fine iPhone 6s housing.. Will the iPhone 6 motherboard and the screen work? (I know some screws may not go in, just wondering if it’s possible!)
@posttheplug that’s a really good question, you can buy a conversion housing, i.e. hybrid iPhone 6 in a plastic 5c like housing. Unfortunately, the milling is completely different in both models. Screws will not line up properly mostly at the the top and bottom near the charging port. Also keep in mind the frame in the 6s has a bit of a lip for the adhesive that is not found in the 6. If you decide to attempt it anyway, I’d be curious to see how far you’re able to make it.
