Hi , I have been using my iPhone x for a while now and the ear-speaker has stopped working. I have got it down to the actual module inside the phone. I dont mind replacing the part, but would replacing the whole ear speaker and ambient light sensor stop FaceID from working ?
Yes, face ID will stop working, I don’t have the name but I think is “DEEP SENSOR", you can just replace the earpiece with a soldering pen, has only two connections.
