Hey everyone so my MacBook Pro has some screen problems. It has vertical bars on the left side of the screen and I took it to the genius bar at Apple and they confirmed that it was because of liquid corrosion on my logic board (they showed me a pic of it when they opened it up). They quoted $1500 for a repair!! Could this be potentially fixed in a cheaper way my opening up the back and cleaning the logic board with alcohol? Even if there is a chance I’m willing to do it. Thanks for the help in advance!
