When I connect my iPhone 4 (A1387) to my laptop it will show on the phone that it is charging but it will not show on itunes and it isnt showing anywhere on my computer, its like it isnt connected at all. Tried every USB port and it isnt showing up anywhere on my laptop but still charging.
Look into the charging port and verify none of the pins in the connectors are damaged. You will need a flashlight and a magnifier.
