Hi there :) I’ve bought genuine Apple SSD MBP 2014 model and installed it in my MBP 2015 model and it is working fine BUT it has Sleep / Wake up Problems. Sometimes overnight in Sleep Mode drains battery form 100% to 0% overnight - sometimes unable to wake it up - only by holding power button. Always one of those two scenarios. When on short Sleep ( half an hour?) it is all fine. I know MBP 2015 are picky with SSD - especially those with non-Apple SSD + NVMe adapter which have Sleep Wake up problem - but with Apple SSD with just older 2014 model SSD? Update (10/13/2020)
Sadly no firmware info
At this point I think the older drive won’t work correctly here.
