Will the iPhone 6 turn on when you plug it to charge if it has a defected battery? I got a new battery on my iPhone 6 and it charged once and when I tried putting it back to charge it didn’t it was dead. I had no issues with my charging before I replaced the battery. Please tell me whether an iPhone 6 will turn on with a defected/damaged battery???
It can but a faulty battery that causes a short circuit will stop the phone from turning on. It should at least have an apple logo with battery unplugged and charger plugged in. If not the problem is either caused by a bad charging port and/or the charging chip on the logic board to go bad.
