I want to fit a CPU waterblock for a PC onto the xbox one x motherboard to cool the processor. I need to know how far apart the holes are that I’ve marked in the attached picture to see if a waterblock is compatible. https://imgur.com/a/UTW8U Also, will passive heatsinks be adequate for the memory modules around the processor?
You will need a block that covers the same area that the original vapor chamber does unless you find a new radical way to cool the other chips. Mini heatsink on each chip will not be enough. Kid next door did it and killed his system.
What if oyou got a big pice of copper that get alle the chips like the original and then got a big waterblock on that? .. maby ?
