Long story short, my baseband would not be read so i couldn’t activate or connect to the network. Decided to try today to reflow U2_RF (baseband PMU). Removed EMI shield, heated it a bunch and put everything back except soldering the EMI shield; just put it in place. Now it will not turn on at all. Is it because of PMU or something else?
Actually I do not know but my iPhone 5s dropped in water and it was working fine for like 1 month, but recently I got no service and Stuck on searching problem. Someone said that BB_PMU is dead or needs to be reballed due to corrosion. At least everything else is working but I can’t make or receive calls, access cellular data and SIM card is not detected at all, it reports that Cellular update failed even tho SIM card is not installed. I mean I don’t think it is the PMU problem bc my iPhone is at least usable as iPod touch.
