Washer will agitate but not spin?

Daniel Munoz without knowing the exact model it becomes a bit more difficult. Number one suspect would be the lid switch. The lid switch is designed to prevent the washer from spinning when you open the lid. So, a switch that does not have the continuity could prevent your washer from spinning. You also did not tell us if you hear the motor noise when you turn the washer on while you set your program to spin. It could be the spline on your motor couple but that would depend on the washer model again. Some are differently splined and it would not affect the spin cycle. Knowing your model number would help with that. Check on here Kenmore 400 Washer Repair and if you check the 2nd paragraph of the Background and Identification section, it’ll tell you where to look for that number.
