I’ve got a S8 Active which fingerprint sensor doesn’t work. Each time i try to load the fingerprint scanner section of the settings I’m greeted with a message that says “Attention: An error has occurred with the fingerprint sensor… restart your device.” I’d like to know if the S8 Active sensor can be replaced with a S8 sensor. Please do not suggest other methods of fixing the Attention message, I’m certain the sensor is destroyed. Thank you!
I don’t believe they can be used interchangeably. The cables are different lengths so not the same part
