I have a mobile device where i have cut through the cable to the display. Should the phone boot up without display?…. I have adb access authorised so not concerned about screen as long as it should still boot?
Would a disconnected screen also stop the phone fron charging correctly?
Most of the time, yes they will boot up without a screen just make sure you disconnect that ribbon cable in case that tear caused any short circuits.
