I know this is a long shot but I figure someone might know the answer. I have a 2014 Mac Mini and I would love to have it in the new 2018 space grey color. I can buy a 2018 Mac mini outer case online for $150. Will the guts (and I/O plate) of a 2014 Mac mini fit in the aluminum case of a 2018 Mac mini? Thanks! -Zach
Sorry the cases are very different! If you really want a space grey case how about buying a case and then re-anodize it to the color you want. I’m sure you can find someone with the needed chemicals and gear to do it. Mac Mini Main Housing Unit (14)
