have an out of warranty iphone 6….all was gng on well and suddenly one fine day the wifi stopped working…. was not getting any signals at times…. now when there are no wifi signals even after being in the router range i just give the phone a hard shake and voila! the signals are back…happens everytime…give it a good shake and it shows wifi otherwise not! please help if someone has a good suggestion…apple service had the most dumb answer " its not that big a problem …you can live with it or just buy a new phone " Update (07/22/2016) ‘‘‘hi….thanks for the advice….but i just noticed….its not just the wifi….the GPS / bluetooth and wifi none are working fine…GPS is showing a wrong position….and again when i tap or shake the phone it starts to show the correct location… so now if someone could advice accordingly plzzzzzzz’’’ Update (07/22/2016) its not greyed out….something is loose….gps and wifi work faulty….right now its showing one wifi bar…once i give it a tap then i get the normal 3 bars….and sitting right next to the router
in the WiFi settings it is grayed out and not activated by the tap? This means that the card is not recognized and therefore not working. if the Wi-Fi instead be activated but can not find the test network to make a backup for security, then resets before the network settings and verifies the operation. if that does not work then restore the content and settings bringing it to factory settings, and without calling the backup verification operation as a new iPhone
