…following “slight” water damage, i.e. splashed on face and puddle remained for several hours. not full immersion. unit was dried in rice then opened and carefully dried and cleaned by a professional. phone boots, xmits/recvs calls, etc. uBreakiFix (UW in Seattle) has been NO help. I’m 3rd owner and willing to learn (I’m somewhat capable as an Instrumentation Tech.) seems like only a partial logic board failure but do these components share a commonality that I could/should pursue or look at more closely? ribbon cable connector corrosion or something? ‘cause if you don’t open it you don’t really own it. thanks in advance.

Even though it’s slightly water resistant, it must have penetrated the hull. So you’ll need to do standard water damage cleaning. The first link is information on water damage.
