I recently changed my internet service provider and since then I’ve had a problem with my phone disconnecting from the wifi but only my phone no other device in the house. This happens seemingly at random and doesn’t seem to have a obvious trigger. Some of the time it will say the wifi is disabled other time it will say it’s saved.

It would usually fix itself after I go into the settings and connect to the wifi again then it take a minute or so and refreshes as if I’ve turn wifi off and on, on my phone. Or sometimes it just connects back on its own after some time.

Hi @mylese0 , Have you checked the WiFi’s > Preferences at all? Don’t know the phone and the user manual doesn’t show what the preferences are but with some phones there are preferences such as Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep (should be set to Always) or perhaps Wi-Fi optimization Try the following and check if either one resolves the problem: Wipe the cache partition and check if it now works OK Start the phone in safe mode and check if the problem still occurs. If it doesn’t then a downloaded app is the cause of the problem. The trick is to find out which one. A downloaded app is one that you installed and was not already pre-installed on the phone when you first got it.

If you recently changed ISPs and only your phone is affected, try first deleting your WiFi connection in your phone and then resetting your router. Your phone’s WiFi settings should have an option to “forget” the connection and start over. If this doesn’t work, try entering your router’s firmware from a device besides your phone. Open a browser and type the router’s IP address (usually 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.1.1, but the info should be in the router’s documentation) in the address bar. Poke around the interface until you find an option to reset the router back to factory defaults.

My WiFi keeps disconnecting and reconnecting on me
