Hello Guys, New here, I installed Samsung 1TB SSD into my 2011 Macbook Pro 13” Did not clone, I chose to install fresh OS - its High Sierra on SSD. After the boot no 5Ghz wifi available, its not searching or able to find that band. Its working fine with 2.4 Ghz band. Unsure what could be the reason. After install, done all the necessary updates,. Any thoughts? Thanks a lot for your assitance. Many thanks AP
Technically: Your elbow is not attached to your foot! So, changing your socks shouldn’t effect your elbow ;-} Thats also the case here! Replacing a drive shouldn’t effect your Wifi services. But clearly it has! This then gets into what you might have banged in the process of working on your system. Given its exposure I would surmise the MacBook Pro 13" Unibody (Early 2011-Mid 2012) Airport/Bluetooth Cable got damaged or dislodged.
